NSE created the Investor Protection Fund Trust (IPFT) to compensate investors when defaulters' assets cannot cover claims and to promote investor education, awareness, and research.

NSE levies IPFT charges separately but includes them under exchange transaction charges in your contract note. The IPFT charges are as follows:
