# How long will it take for allotment of SDL, T-bills and G-Secs?

## Allotment timeline by security type

Once you receive the allotment, a contract note will be sent to your registered email ID. You can check the settlement date of current and past issues on NSE (WEB).

These securities are issued for limited amounts, so allotment is not guaranteed if the number of bids received exceeds the issue size. If you do not receive allotment, you can try again at the next auction. RBI conducts multiple issues each month.
