# Why does my downloaded order book show dates instead of quantities?

> This happens due to Excel's automatic formatting. Excel converts quantity values like "1/1" (filled quantity/total quantity) into date format,…

## Short answer

This happens due to Excel's automatic formatting. Excel converts quantity values like "1/1" (filled quantity/total quantity) into date format, displaying them as "01-Jan" instead.

## When this occurs

You'll see this formatting issue when:

A single order is fully filled, showing "01-Jan" instead of "1/1"

Total filled orders are 12 or fewer, as Excel interprets these as month/day combinations

## How to fix this

Open the order book file using Notepad or Notepad++ instead of Excel to view the correct quantity values without formatting issues.
