If you purchased the transferred shares over multiple days, add the average price for each trade date separately. ## For purchases on different days Enter separate discrepant trades on Console for each purchase date. The system will calculate the buy average automatically. Example: 100 shares of Reliance bought at ₹1000 on 1/4/2020 200 shares of Reliance bought at ₹1020 on 2/4/2020 You need to enter two separate discrepant trades on Console. ## For multiple purchases on the same day Calculate the average price for all purchases and enter the total discrepant quantity on Console. Example: 100 shares of Reliance bought at ₹1000 on 1/4/2020 200 shares of Reliance bought at ₹1020 on 1/4/2020 Enter the quantity as 300 and the price as ₹1013.33 [(1000x100 + 1020x200)/300)] ## Special case: Same day buy and sell Shares bought and sold on the same day will be considered as intraday trades irrespective of whether you place the trades in CNC (long-term) or MIS (intraday) product types.
