## Short answer

You see the error Nominee addition cannot be processed online for your account. Please initiate request offline if you have a joint account, non-individual account or do not have a demat account with Arrow.

## For joint accounts

To add a nominee to a joint account, all the account holders must sign the nomination form (PDF) and courier it to:

You can refer to the sample copy of the nomination form (PDF).

## For non-individual accounts

As per the CDSL guidelines (PDF), the nomination facility is available only for individual demat accounts. Therefore, non-individual account holders cannot add a nominee.

Clients who do not have a demat account with Arrow cannot add a nominee.

## Things to keep in mind

Your nominees' names must match their documents to facilitate easier claims in adverse situations.

If your nominee is a minor, mention the guardian's details and provide ID proof of the guardian. You cannot add the account holder as the nominee's guardian.

If you have a minor account, you cannot add the guardian as the nominee.

Your nominee would apply to your trading and demat account, including mutual fund investments made through Arrow.
