Short answer
You can open an Arrow demat account as a foreign national holding shares in unlisted Indian companies through foreign direct investment (FDI) by submitting the following documents to iRage. For any assistance, create a ticket or email support@arrow.trade. iRage will respond within 48 hours.
Documents required
You need to submit the following documents:
Forms and declarations:
KYC & Demat application form -
FEMA declaration (PDF)
Client Details Form (PDF)
Proof of foreign bank account (bank statement, personalised cancelled cheque leaf, or letter from the bank)
Identity proof:
Copy of PAN (apply for a new PAN through NSDL Link ) - must be notarised
Foreign passport - must be notarised
Other country resident visa (if residing in a country other than the one mentioned in the passport)
Address proof (any one, must be notarised ):
Driving licence
Foreign passport
Resident permit card
Bank statement (must be from the last 2 months, counted from the date of receipt of hard copies)
Banker letter attested by the bank (on the bank’s letterhead)
Rental agreement

Submitting documents
Follow these steps to submit your documents:
Email the soft copies to support@arrow.trade. iRage will review them and send you a confirmation email once the forms are verified.
After receiving the confirmation email, courier the physical documents to:

Your account will be opened within 4 working days after iRage receives your documents.
