Short answer

You can change the address registered with your NRI Arrow account only through offline process, unlike resident individual accounts that you can change online. You need to submit documents and pay ₹25 + 18% GST. The address update takes up to 72 working hours.

Important requirements

You are considered a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) if you are a citizen of India or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who resides outside India for more than 182 days. If you hold a resident individual account after becoming an NRI, you must convert it to an NRI-NRO account.

ITD status: NRIs and PIOs must ensure that their residential status is marked as Non-resident on the ITD website before opening an account.

Document notarisation: If your KYC status is updated as Non-resident with the latest address, you only need self-attested copies. If not updated as a Non-resident with the latest address, you must notarise documents through the Indian embassy, authorised officials of overseas branches of scheduled commercial banks registered in India, public notaries, court magistrates, judges, or the Indian embassy/consulate general in your country. The attesting authority should affix a Verified with original stamp, name, designation, authority or employee code, signature and date. Create a ticket mentioning your PAN and date of birth to check your KYC status.

Ensure that the signature on the account modification forms matches the signature in the existing account. The signature in the existing account can be found by visiting app.arrow.trade/account/documents, selecting Signature proof in the drop-down menu, and clicking on E-mail to me.
