Short answer
No, you cannot use a Paytm bank account to open a Arrow account. The Reserve Bank of India stopped all debits and transactions to Paytm Payments Bank on 15th March 2024 due to non-compliance issues (PDF).
Impact on existing accounts
If you previously linked a Paytm bank account as your primary bank account with Arrow, you cannot add funds to your trading account, even from secondary bank accounts that you have linked.
