Short answer

Arrow alerts are notifications that inform you when specific market conditions are met for instruments you are tracking. You can create real-time alerts based on various parameters such as price, volume, and percentage changes. You can create alerts as simple alerts or as Alert Trigger Orders (ATO).

Data points for alerts

The data points on which the alerts can be set are as follows:

OHLC - Open, High, Low, and Close.

Percentage - Day change, Intraday change.

Price - Last traded price and Average Traded price.

Quantity - Total buy and sell quantity.

Open Interest (OI) - OI Day High and Low.

Volume traded.

Last traded quantity and more.

Mathematical operators

You can use the following mathematical operators to set up your alerts:

Greater than (>).

Greater than or equal to (>=).

Less than (<).

Less than or equal to (<=).

Equal to (=).

Creating a simple alert

On Arrow app

Tap on the instrument.

Tap on Set alert.

Enter a name for the alert.

Set the property and enter the value.

Swipe on Create.

On Arrow web

Click on More on an instrument.

Click on Create Alert.

Enter a name for the alert.

Set the property and enter the value.

Click on Create.

Creating alerts from the Alerts section

You can also create alerts from the Alerts section by following these steps:

On Arrow app

Tap on Orders.

Tap on Alerts.

Tap on + New alert.

On Arrow web

Click on Orders.

Click on Alerts.

Click on New alert.

You will receive a notification on Arrow web or app along with an email when your alert is triggered.

Things to keep in mind

Arrow alerts are free, and iRage does not charge additional fees.

You can create a maximum of 500 alerts and 200 Alert Triggers Orders (ATO). To add more, you must delete existing alerts.

The advanced alerts feature is currently unavailable.

Arrow alerts have a validity period of 365 days and will be automatically disabled after this period unless triggered or manually disabled earlier.
