Short answer
No. You cannot open a One-Person Company (OPC) trading or demat account with Arrow / Arrow.
Why
As per Rule 3(6) of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014, an OPC cannot carry out Non-Banking Financial Investment activities, including investment in securities.
In line with these regulations, iRage does not allow opening of OPC accounts.
What you can do instead
If you want to trade or invest through Arrow, consider one of these account types (subject to KYC and eligibility):
| Account type | Who it is for |
|---|---|
| Individual (Resident) | Most retail traders |
| HUF | Hindu Undivided Family |
| Partnership / LLP | Registered firms |
| Private Limited / Public Limited | Companies that are not OPCs |
| NRI | Non-resident Indians (additional docs) |
